Brian Edwards

Brian Edwards is the founder, President, and Executive Director for Building Knowledge Everywhere. He has spent 7 years working as a private tutor in the education industry. Prior to working in the education sector, Brian worked for over 9 years in Oil and Gas, Housing, Non-Profit, and Investment Banking industries. 
 
Brian founded Building Knowledge Everywhere in November of 2020 with the premise of the organization becoming a financial resource for economically disadvantaged students that can not afford one-on-one tutorials as well as assisting teachers and educators of these students with getting classroom resources for the start of their school year so that they do not have to use their own finances to provide much-needed supplies for their students. Brian believes that all K-12 children across this nation should have the opportunity and the resources to be able to experience transformative academic progress that one on one tutoring can provide.  Brian also is a founder of Building Knowledge Everyday a for-profit tutoring company founded in 2019.
 
 Brian served for five years on the University of Saint Thomas Alumni Board of Directors where he sat on the Alumni Development, Social, and Nominations committees.
 
Brian holds a BS in Finance’09 from the University of Minnesota and an MBA’11 with a concentration in Finance from the University of Saint Thomas.
