Stephanie Mendoza

 

Mrs. Stephanie Mendoza is a Ball HS graduate, attended UT Permian Basin for her bachelors, the University of St. Thomas for her masters in Educational administration, and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree with Texas Tech University. Mrs. Mendoza was an English teacher and a BHS cheer coach for 7 years, served 2 years at La Marque HS as Dean of Instruction, 2 years as Assistant Principal at Ball High School and 1 year as the director of BioMed and STEM communities also at Ball High School.  She was named Austin Middle school’s Principal in 2021-2022 and is now serving as principal of Central Middle School. 

 

Mrs. Mendoza is the first Hispanic female principal of Central Middle School. She is also a Galveston County 40 under 40 recipient. Mrs. Mendoza is happily married to her number one supporter, Angel, and she has two beautiful children. She likes to take the lead, jumps into any and all tasks, sets high expectations for all, and is solution-driven and a positive role model. She is dedicated to her staff and students and shows it daily in her work to strive to be the best.
